Robert, is a compassionate and dedicated therapist with a Master of Social Work (MSW) and is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW). With extensive experience in providing therapeutic services, Robert, specializes in helping individuals navigate through life's challenges, including anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and mental health issues. Robert, emphasizes a holistic approach, integrating spirituality and self-care techniques to support clients in achieving lasting personal growth and healing. Using a client-centered approach, Robert, is committed to creating a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their inner strengths and develop effective coping skills.
Antoinette Wainwright, Counselor Trainee (CT) Intern Counselor
I am passionate about supporting the mental and emotional well-being of school-aged
children, adolescents, and adults. My previous experience as a school counselor intern
provided me with valuable insight into the challenges students face, both academically
and personally. I am dedicated to fostering a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental
environment where young people can explore their feelings, develop healthy coping
strategies, and achieve personal growth.
My approach revolves around collaborating with parents and caregivers. I empower
clients to set goals and make positive changes while integrating evidence-based
techniques that suit their needs. I am excited to continue expanding my clinical skills
with Essence Counseling Group as I work toward my professional counseling licensure.

Our focus is to help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. We achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan. I provide individual, couple, and family counseling. I provide mental health and alcohol and drug counseling services. My treatment modalities include Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-based practices, Brief solution focused therapy (BSFT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Person-Centered Therapy (PCT), and Motivational Interviewing. We create an action/treatment plan that is tailored to your life vision. The goal is to empower you with strength, knowledge, and coping skills to utilize as life unfolds. A safe/confidential environment in which you can freely express your thoughts and feelings/emotions will be provided in Person or via Telehealth.
